More than 200 people participated last weekend in the traditional rotary dinner of Dénia, which this year raised funds to equip the multisensory room of the Day Center of La Xara. In total, more than 5.000 euros were raised to be used for this project, valued at 30.000 euros.
The evening was enlivened with the music of students from the Dénia Conservatory that gave way to Angelines Asperilla, club macero, who welcomed and explained the development of the event.
At the end of the dinner, the president of the club, Maribel Roselló, emphasized the importance of this room so demanded by the users and their families, since "They are given an opportunity to interact and be an active part of the society in which we live, while providing great support for their families and a very important advance for the community".
Maribel Roselló stressed that it is about "One of the pioneering services, at the same time that it is very demanded, and more important for the development of people with functional diversity since it is about creating spaces with physically and cognitively accessible environments that allow the development of users".
The dinner was attended by representatives of Aprosdeco, Ludai, ADHD Marina Alta, Denia Foundation, Association against Cancer of Ondara, Gramm, as well as the mayor and the Youth Councilor of the Dénia City Council.
