The Castle of Dénia has received the Certificate of Excellence 2014 which gives the website TripAdvisor, making the monument the second most important tourist attraction in the city for web users, after the Natural Park Montgó.
This certificate of excellence is awarded to those establishments and tourist attractions listed in the top of the attractions on the web. Using an algorithm's opinion is valued visitors and only awarded to those places rated with at least four points out of five.
Councilor for Culture, Pepa FontThis distinction means that "management is going in the right direction", and provides a record of visits to the Castle this year. And that guided the castle organized by the Department of Culture visits are proving successful. 600 people have participated in visits held during the first four days of the year 2014. Last year, in total, they participated in these visits 1.800 people, so it looks like this year will exceed that figure.
Tours are conducted from July to 15 15 September are free and offer two different itineraries. In the 19 hours it takes place 'Descobrir the Castell de Dénia' 20 and 21.30 hours route and a thematic visit is made to the seven gates of the citadel of Dénia.
