The council publishes a guide of municipal services for new foreign residents

24 October 2013 - 00: 00

The Department of International Relations of the city of Dénia has drawn up a guide of basic services addressed to foreign citizens newly established in the city.

The guide collects up to a total of forty-six municipal services that may be useful to newcomers, with their address, telephone number and, in some cases, the corresponding e-mail address. The list of inhabitants, the Department of International Relations, OMIC, Urbanism and Environment, Citizen Participation, Neighborhood Centers, Social Center, House of Culture or Social Services are some of the detailed services. In addition, the user will be able to locate the offices of NIE-Extranjería, the Tax Agency, National Police and Guardia Civil, health centers, Hospital de Dénia or the post office.

The guide, of which 2.000 copies have been published in pocket size, has been subsidized by the Provincial Council of Alicante, within its line of aid for activities aimed at foreign citizens, with the amount of 1.444 euros. Each included service is specified in Spanish, English, German and French.

The guide will be given to citizens who come to the town hall to register and will also be distributed among the associations of foreign residents of the town. Likewise, it can be consulted on the website of the city of Dénia, within the section on International Relations.
