The Civil Guard has arrested two men of Polish nationality, of 29 and 30 years, as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health for the cultivation of marijuana, having in their rental housing the amount of 407 marijuana plants and close to 700 grams in buds ready for distribution.
It was the neighbors of the area who warned the Civil Guard of the intense odor that gave off the house, a detached house located in a game of Pego. The research work was not easy, since the house was surrounded by thick vegetation and high walls. After several weeks of research it was possible to identify the tenants, who used a high-end vehicle with English registration the few times they left the house.
Sources of the Civil Guard point out that the moment of entry and search brought a unique episode, because although the officers were uniformed and correctly identified, these two individuals did not want to leave the house because they thought they were people who had I went to remove the marijuana plants, as, apparently, had happened in previous days.
100.000 euros in drug
In the interior of the house they found, for all their rooms, more than 400 plants of marijuana in the drying phase, creating in this way a situation of coexistence between the drug and the growers. We also intervened about 700 grams of marijuana buds, ready for distribution. All the drugs seized, could have reported an economic benefit of about 100.000 euros.
Once the Civil Guard of Vergel has proceeded to the arrest of these two men, as alleged perpetrators of an offense against public health for the cultivation of marijuana, it has been decreed that they be imprisoned without bail by the court of law. Instruction nº 1 of those of Denia.
