The Civil Guard has arrested in Dénia a man of Spanish nationality and 45 years old when he was about to embark on one of the regular lines from the dock with his car heading to Ibiza with more than two kilos of cocaine hidden in the hollow air-bag.
The car stopped was thoroughly inspected by officers of the Civil Guard, who managed to find two dark packages containing a total of 2,3 kilos of cocaine, plus 650 euros in cash.
The detainee, who has been placed at the disposal of the Juzgado de Instrucción number three of Dénia, is charged with the alleged commission of a crime against public health.
