Dénia prepares to host the '68 Volta Ciclista a la Comunitat Valenciana'

Cycling enthusiasts are in luck because this Thursday will Dénia goal of the second stage of the 68 Volta Ciclista a Valencia. A test that starts from Alicante and reach the Calle Marques de Campo, after traveling 178 kilometers. The finish line will be installed at the Carlos junction Sentí with the main street of the municipality.

The peloton will make two passes through Dénia, the first between 15:17 and 15:39 p.m., entering the Dénia-Xabía road, after having descended Les Planes. They will go through Castell d'Olimbroi, the Red Cross roundabout, Cervantes Esplanade, Bellavista, Raset, Benidorm Square, Miguel Hernández Avenue, where a flying goal will be located, Cholet and Abu-Zeyan roundabout. They will leave Dénia through the avenue of Valencia, the CV-725, detour to La Xara, CV-724, avenue of the Sea and avenue of the West, in La Xara, CV-735 and direction to Xàbia to ascend again the Montgo.

Cyclists will return to Dénia by Les Planes, entering Castell d'Olimbroi, the rotunda of the Red Cross, Cervantes esplanade and Calle Marques de Campo to the finish. Arrival time is expected to target between 15: 58 and 16: 23 hours.

On the day of the race, Thursday 2, at 14 pm, the Local Police will cut off traffic at the following points: end of Marqués de Campo-Esplanade Cervantes; Calderón street crossing with Temple de Sant Telm; Temple of Sant Telm-Marqués de Campo; Cándida Carbonell-Magallanes; Cándida Carbonell-Pintor Victoria; Cándida Carbonell-Marqués de Campo; Charlie Sentí-Magellan; Charlie Sentí-Marqués de Campo; La Mar-Sandunga; Sandunga-Marqués de Campo; La Mar-esplanade interior and Jorge Juan-Calderón. Likewise, specific traffic cuts will be made on the roads where the race takes place.
