Sunday June 12 Dénia celebrates III Painting Contest, A date by which the city will be filled with painters and artistic creations that made his works on issues Casco Antiguo (Old Quarter) y Dénia Castle.
As in previous editions, the competition keeps the structure. 9 11 from a morning at the tourist office in the Plaza del Consell, registered and unregistered participants will be presented to start the contest. Each select a location and will until 17: 30 hours for painting. At that time the participating works for both the public will be exhibited at the Plaza del Consell on trestles like the jury to see.
In the 20: 30 hours will be announced the verdict of the jury of the artist Joan Castejón, Councilor for Culture of the City of Dénia, Rafa CarrióAnd a representative of Adama.
The grand prize winner will be 700 euros; the second prize winner will be 500 euros, and third place will be awarded with 300 euros. In addition, a prize will be awarded to the best local artist, a trip to Formentera for two people will be; and another for the best regional artist, who receive a batch of paintings valued at 100 euros.
The III Ciutat de Dénia Rapid Painting Contest is organized by the ADAMA artistic association with the collaboration of the Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Dénia, the Fundació Baleària Color and Marina.
