With more than 5.000 empty homes provided by the 33 entities that form, the agreement for the establishment of the Social Housing Fund was born last 17 January to help families who have lost their homes in a process of eviction after the 1 January of 2008.
From this week Dénia part of this agreement, signed by the Ministries of Economy and Competitiveness, Health and Social Services, Development, Bank of Spain, the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, the Platform of the Third Sector, banking employers and 33 credit institutions.
Affected families may request access to housing, for which they pay between 150 and 400 euros per month with a maximum of 30% of total net income of the household. More information can be directed to the Municipal Housing Service and process their requests to 11 14 hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 17 to 19 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays (appointment).
