The Municipality of Dénia has received a vessel of 10,97 meters in length and 3,66 in sleeve by the Instructional Court number 3 of Dénia that will manage the Municipal Marine and Fisheries Environmental Service.
This new boat will be responsible for monitoring and control of activities in the natural and marine reserve of Cap de Sant Antoni; conducting research and maintenance of offshore facilities (trains anchor, markings, etc.) and search and rescue of people and boats.
Thanks to the launch of this boat, which has been baptized as Guadalupe, Dénia will be placed at the head of the coastal municipalities, as it is one of the first populations that will launch the Local Plan to combat coastal pollution , that, from this year, must necessarily have all the municipalities that have shoreline.
Among its functions is also to provide coverage to the large number of people interested in being part of the marine and fishing environmental volunteering launched by the Dianense Consistory.
