The City of Denia has presented today a new tool to improve citizen participation and communication between neighbors and the consistory. Is about Dénia APP, a mobile application that is already available for Android and that in a few days will be also on iPhone.
The councilor for citizen participation, Óscar Mengual, has presented this new tool together with the company responsible for its development, Digital Value. For Mengual, it is a more participatory channel that will allow monitoring of incidents and proposals from neighbors.
Sending incidents and receiving notifications
The main feature of this tool is the possibility that neighbors and visitors send incidents, suggestions or queries to the different municipal departments. The City Council ensures that these incidents will be sent to the corresponding department and answered in full.
In addition, the application includes a notification service through which the City will send sides, reminders or timely information on special situations.
Municipal and tourist information
Mario González, on behalf of the developer, explained that the application is complemented with municipal information that includes an agenda of events, municipal news, pharmacies on duty and telephones of interest.
In addition, you can consult the tourist information of the municipality: routes, places of interest, and a directory that shows on a map the tourist services of the city.
