Coinciding with the commemoration this November 25 International Day Against Gender Violence, the City of Dénia has held an institutional act in which it has rejected all types of violence against women.
The event began with the reading of the poem Nilo Natges of the Valencian poet Mª Josep Escrivà recited by Eduard Vilamitjana, which has been illustrated with photography The buida cadira of Manuel López, recalling another form of violence against women: prostitution.

Member council of Consell de la Dona have read a manifesto qe have rchazado all forms of violence against women, remembering the more than fifty women this year have been killed by their partners or former partners.
