The first half of July has left good occupancy data in Dénia. According to the Department of Tourism of the City of Dénia, the data of the first weeks of July show an occupancy of 80% in hotel establishments, exceeding the forecast of 70%.
In campings the occupation has been 61%, also exceeding what was planned, and the tourist rental accommodation has reached 70% occupancy.
These data are similar to those of the same fortnight last year, except in campsites, whose occupation has increased by an 6%.
Forecast for the second half
In terms of tourist occupancy for the 2.ª fortnight in July, although the forecast according to reserves is around 73%, the reality is that hotel reservations are occurring at the last minute and the actual occupation will amount to certainly higher data to the first fortnight, between an 85 and an 90%.
In campsites the occupancy forecast is around 70% and in tourist rental accommodation, 82% or higher is foreseen.
