All groups in the City Council approved in plenary on Thursday for the month of March, a motion by which they urge the Consell to include in the budget for next year a budget line with sufficient force to carry out the construction of a Center endowment residential district and a center of social rehabiltacion in the land where the construction of socio area of La Pedrera was planned and subsidize all places of Center for Child Development and Early Intervention.
This request will be transferred to the Generalitat in a meeting that will maintain this month the councilor of health of the City of Denia, Cristina Morera, With those responsible for health in the Community, who wants to show the union of political groups and Dianians in a subject so sensitive and important for the whole population.
To do this, the Head of Social Welfare Service has made a report with the current real needs in the region in which it collects "the demand was focused on the construction of a residence and a day center to serve adults who, due to their age, can no longer be served in education resources, and who due to their functional limitations cannot be served with resources aimed at occupation or job placement ".
After analyzing the current situation, the report concludes that the needs for this group go through the construction and implementation of the Day CenterAnnexed to the Occupational Workshop Xara, with capacity for 40, a center "I could serve more than twenty students who currently go to the Occupational Center, when in fact, because of their profile, they are potential users of a Day Center. And in this case, 20 seats would be available in the Occupational Workshop for to be able to serve users who are currently aiming to have a place in the Workshop ".
A second point includes the need to build and launch a Residential Residential Center, with capacity for 20 or 25 places that offer the modality of Temporary Stays in regime of boarding school, justified by transitory difficulties of the family of the person with intellectual functional diversity, which makes its temporary internment necessary or advisable.
The Social Welfare report states that, despite the fact that the Mental Health Master Plan of the Valencian Community stipulated the need to have a Center for Rehabilitation and Social Integration (CRIS), with a capacity of 55 people, for every 100.000 inhabitants, the Marina Alta, with 150.000 inhabitants, does not have this infrastructure.
The nearest CRIS is located in Benidorm, which makes unviable the assistance of users resident in the Marina Alta, thus disorders involving these people the displacement would have to be done daily, such as the lack of vacancies.
As to Center for Child Development and Early CareThat from 2012 it is running in Dénia and has subsidized places 10 to 33 serve the municipalities of the region, the motion asks that all authorized places are subsidized, "Given that it is the only Early Care resource in the entire Marina Alta and given that with the financing that the center currently has (10 places) this project is completely unfeasible".
After checking the gaps in socio-matter having the region, Dénia fight now because the Consell take care of these infrastructures in place of the defendant historically Sociosanitaria Area Pedrera.
