Important international projection of Denia and the region

This meeting is part of the annual program of meetings of the UNESCO Network of Creative Cities of Gastronomy. The objective is to continue consolidating, through the technical sessions, the network worldwide. In addition, on this occasion Dénia faces a major challenge: to participate in the evaluation of 18 cities aspiring to be Creative Cities of Gastronomy, as explained the department's technician, Floren Terrades.

For Pepa Font and Vicent Grimalt, this meeting is fundamental for the rest of cities to know the gastronomic infrastructures with which Dénia counts, as well as its business fabric, in order to establish new ways of collaboration between the different cities.

The mayor and councilor of tourism stressed the importance of the worldwide projection that Dénia is acquiring thanks to this project, a sample of the work being done from the innovation office. He was also satisfied with the great response of all the creative cities, who have accepted the invitation of Dénia, as well as the important support that the local and regional entrepreneurs have been receiving from the town hall, which has mostly turned in this draft.
