The Mayor of Dénia, Ana KringeAnd the Councilor for the Environment, Juan Carlos Signes, met this week in Valencia with Mª Ángeles Ureña, president of the Júcar Hydrographic Confederation, to discuss the problems caused by the Rotes-Montgó sewage works.
Ureña pledged to assess and study the damage caused by the works and attended one of the neighborhood petitions: the cessation of work during the months of July and August where Dénia recorded a large influx of visitors.
