Spanish Red Cross today celebrates World Food Day with a unique action to be held in the seven Centers of Tourism of Valencia in parallel and simultaneously, four of them in the province of Alicante, among which is the one located in Dénia.
The activity is part of the Campaign "Recipes for a world without hunger" funded by the Generalitat Valenciana and the Provinces of Alicante and Valencia, which addresses the right to food.
The celebration organized today focuses on awareness of future professionals of gastronomy, in a day where recipes in economic, native and seasonal products will be developed.
After holding workshops with teachers in time deposits throughout the Community, the hall of the CDT Dénia at 13: 30 hours, will host the presentation of a video that includes all interventions developed to fight hunger both in the international arena with food security projects in Spain with projects sharing food, snacks for children or ecosocial orchards.
