The Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) has published the decree regulating the bases for the direct granting of urgent aid in the area of trade and crafts as a consequence of COVID-19. This decree responds to the need to give an urgent response to the exceptional situation of the commercial sector caused by the pandemic.
Autonomous people, SMEs and micro-SMEs that carry out commercial activity in the Valencian Community will benefit from the aid, in any of the activities described in the decree or who are in possession of the artisan qualification document.
The investments related to the COVID-19 destined to the adaptation or transformation of the points of sale in order to achieve the due protection of merchants and customers, in accordance with the security regulations issued by the competent authority, will be eligible, among others.
Types of aid
In the framework of the 'Avalem Comerç' initiative, the aid will be intended to offset the investments made in equipment for the commercial establishment and the implementation of secure online sales or the integration of this in an online e-commerce platform.
In these cases, the computer applications and the expenses of creating a web page will be considered eligible for support, provided that it is linked to the establishment.
Within 'Avalem Mercats', in the section of non-sedentary sales markets, the beneficiaries, if they have municipal authorization for it, may obtain aid to make investments in the adaptation of transport vehicles as a store, or in the installation of cold equipment for the transport and sale of food products, if they comply with current environmental regulations.
In the case of the 'Avalem Artesania' program, the investments related to the COVID-19 made in equipment destined to the adaptation or transformation of the work and sale points to achieve the prevention and protection of artisans and artisans and buyers of In accordance with the safety regulations issued by the competent authority and the adaptation of establishments for distance sales.

The submission of applications will be done electronically. An application will be submitted for each one of the aids chosen through the procedure enabled for this purpose, through the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat.
The deadline for submitting applications as indicated in the DOGV will start at 9.00:15 a.m. on June 2020, 12.00 and end at 31:2020 a.m. on July XNUMX, XNUMX.
