November 12 from 2020 - 10: 39

The Local Government Board held yesterday approved the bases and the call for financial aid to meet expenses related to the habitual residence, taking as a point of reference the Real Estate Tax (IBI) and the garbage rate for the year 2019. These Social aid is aimed at people with a low income level and is intended to amortize the effects of the economic crisis on those people who are predictably affected more directly.

Among the requirements established by the bases is that the person requesting the aid must be the owner of the habitual residence for which it is requested, be registered at that address and be the holder of the IBI receipt. The house to which the request for help refers must have a maximum cadastral value of 33.400 euros.

Likewise, neither the person requesting nor the rest of the members of the family unit may be the owners of another urban real estate, with the exception of the garage and / or storage room of the habitual residence. The bases refer to other conditions of the applicants, such as income levels or the obligation to be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations and not have outstanding debts with the City Council.

The amount of financial aid that each family unit will receive is 130 euros. Only one will be awarded per home.

Applications have to be submitted, from November 23 to December 4, 2020, in the General Register of the Dénia City Council (Citizen Service Office), if you choose to do so in person and always by appointment; or telematically through the electronic headquarters of the Dénia City Council.
