The Second Vice Presidency and Department of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture, through the Valencian Entity of Habitat and Sòl (EVha), has tendered the repair works of seven homes that will go to women victims of gender violence.
These are seven properties owned by EVha or attached to it that are located in several municipalities of the Region, among which is Dénia, four are in the city of Valencia, one in Alfafar and one in Ontinyent.
The tender budget for the contracting of the works amounts to 202.395 euros and the period of execution of the works, once awarded, is two months. It should be noted that the entity has a budget for "Housing investment for women victims of housing" enabled for the 2019 exercise, so that throughout the year it is expected to increase the number of homes destined for this purpose.
The department headed by the second vice president and Minister of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture, Rubén Martínez Dalmau, is studying housing measures to prioritize women victims of gender violence when they require an urgent housing solution. In this sense, the Generalitat is working to offer aid and maximum facilities so that these people have access to decent housing in the most difficult times of their lives.
