This Sunday, Compromís is preferably used for Marina Alta, will celebrate the XXVII Aplec de la Marina in the castle of Dénia, an act through which the events that occurred in 1708, when the War of Succession in the region ended, are commemorated.
In this edition, the "Miquelets del Regne de València" will be counted again, which will represent in the streets of the city some of the events that occurred during the conflict.
The event will begin at 11: 30 hours Glorieta of the Valencià Country, from where the "Miquelets" will parade to the town hall square. There they will represent the entrance of General Baptista Basset to the city and the proclamation of Archduke Charles of Austria as king. The parade will continue to the castle where the traditional offering to the Maulets will take place.
The event will end with political parliaments in front of the monolith.
