The new construction of the sports store has begun in Jesús Pobre, with a forecast of five weeks of execution and a budget of 24.991,78 euros, fully subsidized by the Diputación de Alicante.
Thanks to this project, a new sports equipment store of 88 square meters will be created, which will replace the previous one, of smaller surface and that was not even plastered and finished to fulfill this purpose, having to opt for a plan of execution of new work given the state of deterioration of the previous one.
The project of execution of the building contemplates a new structure and covering of the building, with facade in front of the entrance for vehicles rolled, finished floor in concrete, electrical installation and access door.
This installation concludes the renovation, improvement and expansion of the sports facilities of Jesus Pobre, which began with the sports court and its closure for 140.000 euros; continued with the improvement work of the multipurpose room by the Eatim de Jesús Pobre, for 10.000 euros, the remodeling of the outdoor toilets of the sports center, for the amount of 24.000 euros; the replacement of lighting to led and clock of energy efficiency, and finally the store for collection of sports and municipal materials.
To this improvement must be added the delivery of two anti-vandal ping pong tables by the Diputación that will be installed on one side of the sports court, also completing the sports equipment to be able to develop other disciplines.
