The Mountain Club Marina Alta, UMMA, has reached a collaboration agreement with the Sports Cardiology Clinic REMA, In order to offer a more complete service to their athletes.
19 UMMA athletes will be able to benefit from this agreement and have complete examinations, which are made up of electrocardiograms, Doppler echocardiography and stress tests with Gases, performed by Cardiologists.
The agreement was made with the President of Umma Jose Signes Fornes and founder of the REMA Clinic, Juan Olivert.
José Signes said that this agreement has been thought of athletes and their best performance since the stress tests provide the most important data for improvement.
For his part, Juan Olivert wanted to "thank the concern of the Muntanya Marina Alta Club, UMMA, and the importance of carrying out these recognitions that help detect the dreaded sudden death".
