The former mayor of Dénia, the popular Ana Kringe, will have to declare, the next March 16, as investigated by the so-called FITUR plot of the Costa Blanca Tourist Board.
According to information from the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community, the case was opened last September, when the Court received the complaint filed by the Prosecutor for an alleged offense against the Public Administration for the alleged splitting of contracts for the assembly of the Alicante stands at the International Tourism Fair.
The facts go back to the year 2007, when Kringe was appointed manager of the Board, a position he held for a year. Compromís denounced, before the Anticorruption Prosecutor, the prevarication in adjudications of the stand contracts of FITUR by the Costa Blanca Tourist Board, estimated at 3,2 million euros.
In addition to Ana Kringe, the March 16 will also have to declare the former economic director of the Board, Miguel Juan Baldó, and two other people, two businessmen allegedly benefited by these contracts.
