New this year, the Councilor for Tourism, Pepa Font, has announced an increase in the number of facilities in the most demanded areas. In this way, the beach of the Punta del Raset, one of the most used, will have one more kiosk and twice as many hammocks and shade. The Albaranas beach will bring together all the sports areas that were previously in Punta del Raset and will offer volleyball, rugby and a kiosk. In addition, and upon the request of the hoteliers and restaurants, a batch of hammocks and shades are included in front of the hotels and restaurants on the beachfront.
Another novelty is the extension of the season for kiosks, hammocks and shadows, which this year will be 1 from May to 15 in October. The rest of the services must be open from the 1 of June to the 30 of September. The recommended time is 10: 30 to 23 hours for beach bars, although the law allows opening until 3 in the morning.
