Councilor for Urban Planning, Vicente Chelet, has convened an extraordinary and urgent information commission for next Monday in which it will propose the suspension of licenses in the discontinued buildings in the Transitory Urban System (RUT) applicable until the entry into force of the new General Plan.
These elements, included in the Catalog of Protected Property of the city in the General Transitory Plan that preceded the RUT, do not appear as such in the current urban regime. For this reason, Chelet has indicated, this measure must be adopted as a matter of urgency "To avoid irreversible interventions in these elements".
Likewise, the agreement that will be proposed in the information commission on Monday indicates that any change in these elements will necessarily be passed by a mixed commission composed of a heritage architect of the Generalitat Valenciana, a representative of the College of Architects, the municipal architect And representatives of municipal political groups.
Suspension of licenses in discontinued buildings will be submitted for approval at an extraordinary plenary session scheduled for next Thursday.
