City Hall and restaurateurs promote a responsible recreation in Dénia

The municipality of Dénia creates a circuit with leading catering establishments in the city to promote a healthy and responsible leisure.

In the auditorium of the Dianense consistory, the presentation of the "Responsible Service" program took place, aimed at promoting the commitment of the hospitality sector to the defense of safe, healthy and quality leisure. The mayor, Ana Kringe, the president of the Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta, Cristina Sellés, The Councilor for Social Welfare, Pepa SiveraAnd the representative of the NGO Control Club, Juan Barcala.

This project promoted by the Dianense city council with the collaboration of AEHTMA., And the NGO Controla Club, is part of the objectives of the National Drug Prevention Program in the hotel sector "Responsible Service" signed by the Government Delegation to the National Plan on Drugs and the Spanish Hospitality Federation.

The objective is the start-up of a network of establishments in Dénia whose premises meet a series of requirements that ensure a responsible service and quality service to their customers. All these requirements are included in the "Code of Good Professional Practices in the Hospitality Sector".

The advice and recommendations collects about responsible alcohol dispensing are; child protection, control the use and trafficking of illegal drugs, security and control facilities of public facilities, the responsiveness of the local emergency situations and adequate service and attention to customers.

An initiative that places Dénia at the forefront of these activities. Establishments participated in it are; Blues Bar, Mik-Mik, Dorian GrayBuddha Sun, Paddy O'Connell, The Silenci, The Girl From Yesterday, Dénia Rock, Magerit, Gaudí and Jamaica Inn. To all of them he presented the badges and diplomas.
