Juan Sancho presented last night to the public the new Club Llunàtics, The commitment of the Department of Culture for space for the youngest enjoy their free time in a healthy and safe manner.
Llunàtics Club is a leisure space, fun and culture aimed at young people from 12 to 30 years which places Dénia as a pioneer in creating a space for young equipped with special equipment in a healthy environment.
With an area of more than 1.000 m2, Llunàtics access is free for members of Llunàtics Club through new Llunàtics card, Which will be available from December for free at Llunàtics offices.
The opening hours will be very large during weekends and holidays (morning, afternoon and night) and weekday young people can access the Llunàtics three areas: the skate track, cafeteria and Wii 0,0 area.
Skate Zone:
It will be a multifunctional space, of approximately 500 m2, with skate covered track for bicycles and skateboards, equipped with:
- A special ramp (fun box), various ramps and accessories.
- A professional track of 2 meters high x 10 long and 8 deep.
- Public address and multimedia systems.
Cyber Zone:
- 4 Wii consoles with plasma screen, 42 inches, with games without violence and classified by age.
- Wi-Fi zone, with 2 computers.
- Kiosk of products such as snaks and ice cream, with repair service for skateboards and bikes.
Coffee Llunàtics:
- Cafeteria Bar 0,0 (without alcohol or tobacco)
- Scenario of 6x4 meters for performances.
- Sound and lighting.
- TV.
- Dining service: hamburgers, sandwiches, pizzas and sandwiches with prices adapted to young people.
The cafeteria will be accessible to everyone during the week, offering morning and afternoon service to students, parents of students, and during the weekend and holidays it will only be accessible for members of Llunàtics Club.
Playground:
It will be integrated in the Café Llunàtics and equipped with table football, billiards, ping pong, air hockey, target ... among others.
ETC room:
Members of the Llunàtics Club will also be able to access the ETC Room where film screenings and other activities will be organized, in combination with the theatrical programming and the initiatives developed by the Escola de Teatre Comarcal Marina Alta.
The youth council announced that the works are scheduled to finish in November, and if all goes well, at the end of the year the facilities will be inaugurated in the old VT institute, where the Llunàtics offices are currently located.
