Last night, in the Plaza del Consell de Dénia, the long-awaited festivities of Moors and Christians with an exciting proclamation by Julián Pérez. The square was filled with residents and visitors eager to enjoy one of the most emblematic celebrations in the city.
During the act, the symbolic delivery of the keys to the city was carried out, followed by the exciting raising of the flags, in which the banners of the different filaes that will participate in the parades proudly waved.
After this solemn act, the party continued with the traditional gala dinner, which took place in the parking lot in front of the train station. The attendees shared moments of joy and camaraderie, beginning a few days full of color, music and tradition.
Now, Dénia is preparing to live intensely several days of festivities, with numerous activities and parades that will culminate on August 16 (see all programming here). Let the festivities begin!
