The State Meteorological Agency has reactivated the yellow alert in Dénia due to rain. Approximately one month after the last alert of this type, when it seemed that the rainfall would leave the area for a while, the heavy clouds reappear over the city.
It will be from noon on Tuesday when, according to the AEMET, a somewhat anecdotal storm begins. It will last a short time, no more than a day, and it comes after completely summery days, with record temperatures for the season.
The water will relax the heat, although without completely disappearing. The maximums will drop to 24º, which compared to a week ago we cannot say that it is a low temperature, but coming from two days with thermometers above 30.
Tomorrow the rain will stop, but it will be relieved by a sea storm. This has prompted the AEMET to extend the alert until Wednesday morning.
After the rains, the sun will prevail again and temperatures of almost 30º will arrive again. We will see if the heat is episodic or it is just the exit box of a scorching summer.
