Alagón and Fàbrega received their «Adolfo Utor Acevedo» poetry prizes

The writers, Alejandro Alagón and Josep Fàbrega received the plaques-socarrats as winners of the "XIX Poetry Contest Adolfo Utor Acevedo "that annually organizes the Casa de Andalucía Denia.

The event took place at the headquarters of the association and were also winners, many local politicians and the family of Adolfo Acevedo Utor present.

The prize in the Castilian modality corresponded to the work entitled "Moments of Amnesia", by the poet Alejandro Alagón Ramón, of Huesca. The award in the Valencian modality went to the work entitled "És luna vella", by the poet Josep Fàbrega i Selva, from Calders (Moianès) - Barcelona.

The president of the Casa de Andalucia, Maria Carmen Jimenez with Adolfó Utor son, were responsible for the award ceremony. The mayor, Marcela Server was the one who addressed those present on behalf of the mayor, Ana Kringe for reasons agenda he was not in the act.

During the ceremony there was a recital of poems selected the winning entries, read by bards, accompanied by guitar teacher, Joaquín Boscá; but also, as usual, winners copies were distributed free among the attendees.

The authors of the covers of the books have been Agnieszka Adamczyk photographers and Paco Adsuar, Denia. And the plates-socarrats are the work of ceramist Dianense Mariví Agulles.

This poetry contest has the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía, the Department of Culture of the City of Dénia and the Cultural Foundation Baleària. Then there was a wine of honor.
