Last Sunday, 19 in November, the failures and solidarity went hand in hand in an important event that counted on the complicity of the festive world. The famous Valencian hairdresser Carles Ruiz gave an interesting talk-demonstration on Valencian clothing in Dénia that was held in the Jauja room of Baleària Port.

The event began with a review by Carles himself of the history of Valencian clothing and hairstyles. In this first part, Carles Ruiz was accompanied by the major falleras of Dénia, Melani Ivars and Carla Vinároz; and the president of the Local Board Fallera, José Vicente Benavente.

After knowing the theory, started a parade in which participated the falleras major Dénia 2013, Marta Tabernero; and 2017, Inés Alacreu, as well as many dianenses falleras.

During the parade, which was attended by a hundred people, they could see costumes l'antiga and even a spur that was part of the stage. The Valencian 2012 faller, Sandra Muñoz, also participated, to whom Carles Ruiz put live a coif to show an element of the Valencian clothing quite unknown.

The men's clothing was also present with the participation of five falleros who wore different combinations of men's clothing, thus completing a parade that enriched the knowledge of the lovers of the party while raising funds that went to Red Cross Dénia.

Finally, and thanks to the donations contributed by the attendees, 787'4 euros were collected and handed to the Red Cross representatives who attended the event and who had a detail with Carles Ruiz.
