Today Friday 12 of February, and after several months of negotiations and cleaning of the area, has opened its doors to the public the garden of the old hospital, located in the building that is located next to City Hall, on the slope of the Mother Amparo.
At the beginning of last month of December, the City Council reached an agreement with the Church of the Assumption to open the park to the public in exchange for the service of Parks and Gardens of the consistory was responsible for maintenance.
After a few weeks of cleaning and adaptation work, this morning the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, the councilor of environment and park and gardens, Josep Crespo and Paco Revert, rector of the church of La Asunción, owner of the garden and the old hospital, have officially inaugurated this new green space that is located in a privileged corner of the city.
From today, the garden will be open every day of the week of 7: 45 in the morning to 21.45 hours.
