Ximo Puig expressed in Dénia Consell support the project Creative City of gastonomia

The President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, took advantage of his first official visit to Dénia to express the support of the Consell to the project of Creative City of Gastronomy UNESCO. According to the president, with this recognition, "Dénia represents a symbol of what a city project is that knows where it is going", so the project will have the support of the Generalitat Valenciana.

Despite not specifying how the Generalitat will collaborate with Dénia in this area, Puig expressed his satisfaction because it is a project that benefits both the city and the Community, so he announced his willingness to "work together on the potential of this international recognition".

The President's visit to the city on the occasion of the meeting of the Consell de Turisme in the CDT began in the City Council, where Puig was received by the mayor and councilors of the municipal corporation. Then Puig signed in the honor book of the city, which left reflected that Dénia is a symbol for Valencians, as well as their interest in working together for their good.

Accompanied by the mayor, Ximo Puig met briefly in Grimalt's office with the spokespersons of the political groups in the Town Hall, who conveyed his concerns especially to achieve the much desired train that a Denia and Gandia. In this sense, Puig affirmed that this will be the main priority for which they will work when a new government is formed and recalled that the Councilor of Infrastructures already raised this issue to the government of Mariano Rajoy.
