Last weekend the Spanish Long Throw Championship of minor categories was held in León with the participation of the EMA athlete from Dénia-CA Baleària Diànium, Pau Jagersma González. Pau managed to qualify in the javelin throw and hammer throw events in the U16 category where only the 12 best athletes in Spain qualified.
On Saturday afternoon Pau got an excellent 7th place in the javelin event, thanks to a great throw of 49,60 meters, which is a new personal best for him. On Sunday morning at hammer test ended on a very good note 10ª position, with a mark of 39.73.
The Dénia athlete was accompanied during the competition by his coach Aina Fornés. Both value the championship very positively and hope to continue improving to achieve the next goals of the season.
Brand control in Torrevieja
Last Saturday a test control of the U12 and U16 categories took place in Torrevieja. 20 athletes from the EMA of Dénia - CA traveled there Baleària Diànium with the aim of improving its brands and participating in new tests. It was a very complete morning where the athletes enjoyed the competition and the camaraderie.
