Thirty unemployed people from Dénia charge a monthly scholarship of 430 gross euros through the III Municipal Employment and Training Plan, managed by Creama. The Plan, endowed with 80.000 euros, has as its main objective that these unemployed who did not receive any type of subsidy can qualify for the scholarship and thus receive a way of income. By age ranges, thirteen of the beneficiaries are older than 45 years, sixteen have between 25 and 45 years and one is less than 25 years.
The work done by the participants in the Department of Works and Services consists of the asphalting of streets, placement of sidewalks and sidewalks, placement of pipes and other assistance tasks to the staff. A total of sixteen people participated.
In the area of Parks and Gardens are assigned sevens and plan to perform weeding, refining of land surface, hedge trimming, planting of species, irrigation and cleaning of roads.
The other seven unemployed persons assigned to the Department of the Environment, on the other hand, are engaged in pruning of trees, clearing of vegetation in areas of ravines and abandoned plots, elimination of obstacles on the streets, restoration of degraded areas and control of vegetation In flood areas.
The Plan, financed by the City Council, also facilitates practical and theoretical training of the participants and contributes to the improvement of facilities and public spaces
The III Municipal Plan of Employment and Training began the 10 of February and will conclude the 10 of August. Since its launch in 2013, this municipal initiative has benefited a total of ninety unemployed people from Denia.
