Dénia is welcoming these days the visit of three representatives of the Fra Roger association. Gastronomy and Culture of Menorca, interested in getting to know the project firsthand Denia & Marina Alta #tastinglife of Creative City of the Gastronomy of UNESCO.
On Monday morning they participated in a meeting about the Creative City project with the mayor, Vicent GrimaltThe councilman of Culture, Rafa Carrió, the head of the Office of Innovation and Creativity of the City of Dénia, Floren Terrades, the manager of the Fundació Baleària, Ricard Pérez, and the head of the Tourism Department, Pepa Cardona.
During their visit, the three members of the association will visit the Mercat Municipal, the castle, and the Ethnological and Toy museums, as well as other places of cultural and gastronomic interest. In addition to learning about the Creative City project, from the association Fra. Roger hope to establish cultural exchanges between the city and the islands.
Fra. Roger is an association dedicated to the study, research, experimentation, dissemination and promotion of the gastronomy of Menorca that carries out educational and informative actions, debates, workshops and courses, publications, research grants, awards on gastronomy and other actions that contribute to disseminate Menorcan cuisine, give it the cultural value it deserves and project it into the future.
