Jose Rios Lopez, graphic designer and publicist, has won with its design "Of the blue of the sea" el XXXII Poster Contest Advertisers of the Festa Major Dénia 2012.
It is the first time that José Rios is presented to this contest, but is credited with several competitions of posters and design awards nationally.
The jury of councilors festivals and culture, Paco Arnau y Pepa FontThe Bachelor of Fine Arts and Inma Susana García Mengual, designer and professor of Fine Arts, chose last night from more than 40 submitted designs that are already set out in the Municipal House of Culture.
The design "Cap de Bou", The Valencian authors Joan Albert Ferrando and Xavier PEPIOL Picot, received a special mention for his "originality and modernity".
I totally agree with you RUBIO .. Do you know if there are photos of the exhibition… last year there were.
Scanning well or making a small arrangement with the photos with, for example, Picasa (free), would not be bad. I like it? A resounding No! I do not know what has been presented but it seems to me a total garden. With such great graphic designers out there! The winning poster is made in a pleats and does not have any grace or aesthetics. The special mention 'originality and modernity'… poof! Either the jury has eaten so well (with the accompanying drinks) that it didn't matter… 'tot bé', or is it that they have a somewhat 'particular' vision of what was presented… (first of…, friend of…? ).
