Pepa Sivera He has given his last press conference as mayor of the municipality of Dénia culture and has made to give an overview of the actions to improve public schools conducted by the Department of Education. Sivera has made this balance in children's school El Rodat, accompanied by the center's director, Ferran Martinez.
El Rodat, Education has invested about 14.000 euros in the reform of the four bathrooms, adapting them to the needs of students. In addition, the Department has funded the adequacy of the electrical installation of the center, with a budget of EUR 3.000 and paint work in the building. Complementarily, the center has acquired and paid for the seven air conditioners installed in each school classrooms.
At the Montgó school, the classroom for special primary education and the center's library have been expanded. In Vessanes, the electrical installation has been improved and an access to the school has been added. In the Llebeig, the auditorium has been adapted, providing it with a control room for light and sound, microphones around the stage and new upholstery in the most deteriorated seats, so that the hall, with a capacity for 350 people , now meets the conditions to carry out performances and representations as in the Social Center, as pointed out by the councilor.
Finally, at school Cervantes has changed the parquet floor of the gym, it has painted the building and the council has contributed financially, together with the AMPA, in creating a playground in the center courtyard, with a commitment of gradually endowing it with more game elements.
