Sergio Aranda from CMUMMA and Encarna Cardona, from Baleària Tururac Diànium were the winners of the “I Infern Trail”.
The first edition of Infern Trail, allowed more than 300 participants to enjoy a test in organization was highly appreciated by all. The route of 39 kilometers with a vertical drop of over 1.980 7.000 meters steps did enjoy some and others suffer.
Output gave the 8 am from Orba and the test went through a very nice and fun place, where he highlighted the hard part of the steps by the barranc of l`infern. There was also a part where the technique was important to cross the ridge of Cavall Verd Sanitarium Fontilles and the descent to the finish line of Orba.
Since the start of the race was Pedro Martinez, Athlete Esports Colau who took command of the same, with a high pace. But the thrust behind Sergio Aranda and Rafa Abbott had him 4 cazasen a few kilometers to the finish line. The perfect transition between these two athletes allowed to take advantage Martinez and stand together at goal. Both went hand in hand with a time of 3: 50: 15.
In women, the race was won by Encarna Cardona of the Balearia Tururac Dianium team finishing with a time of 5:03:24, in second place came Nicole Zuchini and in third place Davinia Cardona.
