Saturday pool Oliva will host the first round of the Costa Blanca Swimming League. A competition that was born out of the current need for swimmers in the area to be able to compete closer to home. El Dénia Swimming Club together with the Swimming Club Calpe, Altea and Anibe Swimming Club Benidorm are the clubs that have launched this new competition. In this new league swimming clubs will participate in the Marina Alta; Club Swimming Club Swimming Denia and Calpe, the Marina Baixa; Swimming Club Altea, Benidorm ANIBE, Vila-Joiosa Club and Swimming La Nucia, and La Safor, Swimming Club Oliva.
The intention of this league is that all swimmers can participate, and are competing at federal level or not, without any discrimination, where all participants will obtain their score and evolution throughout the league. It is intended that this league is the prelude to the federated competition for swimmers who participate have a real experience of swimming with people who are already federated. regional competition tests will be conducted, especially with real regulation overseen by referees Swimming Federation of Valencia.
This league will consist of 7 days starting Saturday afternoon at Oliva, where tests 100 100 meters freestyle and breaststroke swim. Dénia Swimming Club, will be presented with more than 30 swimmers between categories from prebenjamí to junior.
