The Department of Commerce of the Dénia City Council, through Creama and together with the Acade merchants association, celebrates Valentine's Day again, with a new campaign, this year, dedicated to making sexual and gender diversity visible, called "Dénia et come as you are. The objective of this initiative is to encourage citizens' purchases in local businesses, building loyalty with a gift raffle among customers.
The Councilor for Commerce, María José García, has declared that "this campaign seeks to energize commerce, but it also aims to make visible the entire range of sexual orientations and gender identities that are part of daily life and, above all, to encourage free love."
The campaign will consist of a raffle among those people who make purchases equal to or greater than ten euros, between February 5 and 17, in the sixty establishments that participate this year in this initiative.
The prizes will consist of products or services provided by the companies participating in the campaign, among which may be jewelry, perfumery, floristry, opticians, footwear, clothing, beauty treatments, hairdressing, food and beverages, electronics, decoration or books, among others.
How to participate in the draw?
People interested in participating will have to deposit the purchase receipt, with a value equal to or greater than ten euros, indicating the name and contact telephone number, in the seven heart-shaped mailboxes, which will be installed in the following locations: Calle Marques de Campo, nº 62, Paseo Saladar corner with Diana Street, Glorieta del País Valenciano, Plaza del Archiduque Carlos, nº5, inside the Municipal Market, Plaza del Consell, and Paseo Saladar corner with Sagunto Street.
The draw will take place during the last week of February, in the presence of the Councilor for Commerce. For each prize, one ticket will be drawn from all participants, and a single gift may be awarded per ticket. The people who win the raffle prizes will collect them in the stores that have provided said gifts.
