One of the most important events of the Dianense society at this time of year has started its journey: Radio SER Dénia has announced the names of winners with the award José Marsal Caballero 2012 in different areas.
The director of the station, Vicente Miralles, read the minutes in the news on Friday, revealing the names and reasons for the awards this year.
The jury of the José Marsal Caballero prize has decided to award the Tourism Promotion Prize to Hotel Les Rotes "for its recognized quality that this year has been highlighted with several recognitions by specialized agencies in the tourism branch nationally and internationally."
In the sports section, the prize will go to the Organizing Committee of the Volta a Peu "for being able to promote and motivate the massive participation of people in the popular races that are held throughout the length and breadth of the Marina Alta".
Jesús ReinaOf the Local Agenda 21 receives the award for the Promotion of Solidarity "for promoting the passion for the Environment in which the dissemination of World Mountain Day is linked and the humanitarian detail shown with the Massanet family coordinating an unthinkable climb to Montgó with the involvement of several mountaineers".
The Award for Social Development has awarded this year José María Gallardo "For a lifetime dedicated to the body of the Civil Guard especially in his destiny of Dénia from which he has projected the values that frame his profession accompanied by the human values of his outstanding personality".
Antonio Reig the award for Cultural Promotion takes for his involvement in theater books Dénia and bulls in the region.
Finally, it has been recognized "constant work within the Local Board as well as outside it decisively collaborating in the promotion of the party both in Dénia and in the rest of the Valencian fallera geography" made by José Vicente Benavente, prize for 2012 Fallera Activity.
The awards will be delivered next Friday December 14 at a gala that will start at 21 hours at the Social Center of Denia.
