Quique Sastre, ceased as president of the Assembly Local Red Cross in Dénia

After a year and a half in the presidency of the Assembly Local Red Cross Dénia, Quique Sastre has left the position after being dismissed by Emilio Bascuñana Galiano, until this week the Provincial President of the Bank in Alicante.

In a statement written by Sastre himself alludes to "personal discrepancies" with Bascuñana, who hours before leaving office as President of Alicante Provincial Red Cross invited to leave office Sastre local president.

Quique Sastre says "respect but not share"the decision of Bascuñana, and thanks the support of the Local Committee of the Assembly in Dénia, of the Red Cross Youth in Dénia, executive positions of the Red Cross, both at the Autonomous and National level and volunteers of the entity.

According to Sastre, "From this Institution they have expressed to me their continuous and repeated expressions of support and those who have not doubted or doubted my capacity as Local President, although despite this support, Mr. Bascuñana had sufficient authority to cease me, an issue he discussed in the last minute of his term. Before leaving his post as Local President of the Red Cross Assembly in Dénia, Quique Sastre wanted to remember the achievements that have been achieved during the year and a half of his term, such as bringing the Assembly closer to the people of Dénia, initiating projects demanded by the society such as those related to food and economic benefits; "considerably increase" the number of members of the assembly, in addition to getting private donations; raise more than 21.000 euros in the two collections of the Day of the Banderita in Dénia; transfers of vehicles for the Assembly; decrease in 50% the expenses in boats; or expand the number of volunteers, among others.
