El Hospital de Dénia has celebrated this Wednesday its III Conference of Open Doors MIR and EIR whose objective is to inform Internal Medical Residents and Internal Resident Nurses about the existing training offer throughout the Department of Health of Dénia.
In the act, which was held in the Assembly Hall of the Hospital of Dénia, were present the Department's Assistant Director, Juan Cardona; the Director of Care and Services, Alfredo Moreno; the Commissioner, Juan Puig; the Director of the Training Area, Jaime Poquet; the Head of Studies, Mª Carmen Estruch and the Coordinator of Training, Carmen Bohigues; in addition to tutors and current residents.
The Department of Health of Denia offers 7 places for MIR in the specialty of Family and Community Medicine, 2 in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, 2 for Midwives, 1 in Gynecology and Obstetrics and 1 in Internal Medicine. From the next 20 in April, both MIR and EIR will have to choose a place in one of the health centers available in Spain to be trained over the next few years.
At present thirty residents are forming, between MIR and EIR, in the Department of Health of Dénia.
