The tourism security program 'Dénia Cares' is presented at the European Urban Security Forum

The Dénia Cares program of prevention and safety in tourism was exposed last week in Barcelona, ​​within the framework of the European Forum for Urban Safety (Efus).

That's where the Councilor for Citizen Security moved, Javier Scotto, and the Chief Mayor of the Local Police, José Martínez Espasa, who presented the main lines of preventive action that are carried out in the city, based on criminological studies on the subject.

It is worth remembering that the preventive councils of Dénia Cares have been translated into Valencian, English, French, German and Norwegian, reaching the destination and future tourist through embassies, consulates and social networks, an aspect that aroused great interest among the public assistant.

The international conference of the Efus took the title in this sixth edition Security, democracy and cities. The event brought together policy makers, prevention and safety technicians and civil society from Spain, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany and, outside Europe, Ivory Coast, Johannesburg and Canada, among others.

Dénia is a member of Efus from 2007. The forum is a space for exchange of good practices and municipal experiences based on science and rigorous work methods.
