El Real Club Nautico Denia It was the setting for the presentation of the next event, DeniaVela 2013. Dianense popular event, which bears the name of the city, next weekend 6 7 April and be held.
The event was attended by; Jaime Portolés, President of RCND; Juan Carlos Signes, Councilor for Environment and Sports; Fernando Calatayud, Club manager and Antonio Vidal, Director of sports the same club.
Jaime Portolés and Juan Carlos Signes, stressed the importance of the event for our town, first to carry the name of the town Dianense and what this means to almost 300 people linked to the candle.
Antonio Vidal, manager and event coordinator, was responsible for reporting the features that will make DeniaVela a unique event in the club.
Vidal informed that DeniaVela2013, will hold 5 regional tests within the respective autonomous circuits of 5 different classes, Laser, 29er, Europas, Catamarans and 420.
The holding of five events of five different classes will involve a higher than normal organization, two racing fields will be installed, one for singles and one for doubles. Vidal enthusiastically said that on this occasion the event is being organized with great enthusiasm as it is a complex event in which many classes and the Dénia Royal Yacht Club will participate and the city will receive 170 light sailing boats and more than 250 Valencian sailors .
DeniaVela2013 give the first exit on Saturday, April 6 the 12h, more than 8 judges will be positioned at sea to control the 170 boats and strategies. At 18h the RCND provide a meal for all participants, and at night the club snack bar will organize a party for sailors and companions.
Sunday April 7 the 11h will craft back into the sea to get their best positions and 18h will begin the awards ceremony in RCND.
