As he indicated by Vicent Salvà, supervisor of the ICU of Hospital de Dénia, "The objective of the project was to achieve a significant reduction in hemolysis levels in the samples taken in the ICU". For this "an intervention plan was designed that included the review of the published scientific evidence, the pre and post intervention analysis, the pre-professional surveys, the training and, finally, the implementation of the agreed measures". The conclusion was that "After analyzing data from more than 8.000 samples, hemolysis levels were reduced from 8,9% to 0,63%".
