The mall Portal de la Marina, iconic in the Marina Alta, in collaboration with Leroy Merlín, is preparing to host a great event at its facilities: the first painting workshop for the restoration of antique furniture. This activity promises to be a true creative feast for DIY lovers.
Chalk paint, also known as chalk paint, is the protagonist of this workshop. This is an ideal fashion technique to give new life to old wooden furniture. This acrylic paint, made with chalk and water, is making waves in the DIY enthusiast community.
The workshop, called "Manitas & Manotas", will be free, although capacity will be limited to guarantee the best experience. To participate, it is necessary make a prior registration. You can register through the center's official website and you will have the opportunity to win one of the 320 places available for this unique artistic experience.
The workshop will be carried out in four groups of 80 participants each, aged between 8 and 80 years. Here is the detailed schedule:
- Group 1: from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
- Group 2: from 12:30 to 14:00 a.m.
- Group 3: from 16:30 to 18:00 a.m.
- Group 4: from 19:00 to 20:30 a.m.
In addition, Each participant will receive a complete kit of material for the workshop, courtesy of Bruguer, along with an elegant cloth bag and Leroy Merlín merchandising.
Virginia Carrasco, director of the shopping center, expressed her enthusiasm for the launch of this activity. In his words: "Using art to learn is always a good option. With this workshop, we want to show our users how easy it is to give a second life to those old furniture while having fun, and thus be able to add our bit of sand to recycling".
