The mall Portal de la Marina organizes, together with Decathlon, the first Solidarity Race for functional diversity. This race is divided into two modalities and will take place on December 3.
La 5K race for adults, will be held at 9:00 a.m., while the Infant, 100m and 3200m will be done at 11:00 a.m. Registration for this race will be done through the Marina Portal page and will cost €6.
The money raised will go intended for Facing the association Edging, a very consolidated association in the Marina Alta, which fights to achieve the inclusion of people with functional diversity.
Portal de la Marina will award trophies to the first three finishers of each category and will deliver gift cards valued at €100 for the first 3 male and female runners who cross the finish line in the 3K race.
El Registration will close on November 29 and the bib collection will be on December 2 at the CC Portal la Marina.
According to the statements of Virginia Carrasco, director of the shopping center, from the Portal de la Marina “we are very excited about this sports initiative and we hope to continue organizing it for many more years and also continue doing our bit in charitable causes of the Navy High"
