Portal de la Marina hosts the official presentation of the Montgorock Xàbia Festival

The mall Portal de la Marina has hosted, this Thursday morning, the official presentation of the Montgorock Festival, the great festival of rock to be held next 11 and 12 May in Xàbia.

Two of the invited artists of this sixth edition, Carlos Tarque, from MClan and Ovidi, from the Zigarros, have participated in the presentation of the festival, in which they have played live the Valencian group Badlands. Everything as an aperitif of what will be lived in the neighboring town of Xàbia in just a few days.

Programming the Montgorock Festival 2018

The days 11 and 12 of May will meet in Jávea just 300 meters from the beach, a cast of national artists who wear rock (in all its variants) by flag. The mythical band Tequila It will be the main course of the first day. The group led by Ariel Rot and Alejo Stivel will start their tour that same day and will perform exclusively at festivals in the Valencian Community in Montgorock Xàbia Festival. He Friday May 11 Rulo and La Contraband, La Moda, Sexy Zebras, Guadalupe Plata, Agoraphobia, Liars, Badlands, The Vibrowaves and Dûrga will also be on stage.

El Saturday May 12 it is led by another exclusive Montgorock Xàbia Festival: Grand Canyon, the supergroup formed by Leiva, Carlos Tarque (M Clan), Ovidi (Los Zigarros) and Julián Maeso who also participated in their only performance at festivals. There will also be The Root, Sidecars, Vinila Von Bismark, Kitai, Money, Santero and Los Muchachos, Ravenous, The Lips, Post, Nixon, Deliri, Indian Hawk, Lost River Bastards and Femme Fractal. Both days will be presented by Miguel Caamaño, current director of Lions soul, and the voice that hides behind Close the door on Radio 3.

Like last year, in this edition of Montgorock Xàbia Festival there will also be a free concert on the beach. On Saturday 12 May morning Almerians Nixon and the Valencians Deliri y Lost River Bastards they will put the musical note on the seashore for anyone who wants to enjoy rock live.

In addition, during the two days of the festival there will be no shortage of food trucks and gastronomic area, the hippy market, a rest area, and all the amenities to enjoy a weekend of rock.

Day tickets for Montgorock Xàbia Festival are available on the festival website www.montgorock.es for 25 € each day or 45 € (up to the 8 May that raises the price) the two-day subscription of the last remaining 200 units.
